Keep Boxing Day delicious - and easy
After the excitement of Christmas Day, Boxing Day calls for good food, a relaxed atmosphere and absolutely no need to cook another roast at home. At Littleover Lodge, food is served from 12pm-6pm, with three different menus giving the whole family plenty of choice.
The festive carvery
If you are not ready to say goodbye to roast dinners just yet, head for our Boxing Day carvery. Choose from roast leg of lamb, roast Derbyshire beef and roast crown turkey, with homemade stuffing, homemade Yorkshire pudding, seasonal vegetables, crispy roast potatoes and creamy mash.
The full gastro menu
Fancy a change from turkey? Our full gastro menu is also available from 12pm-6pm. It is ideal for groups where some people want a traditional roast and others would prefer one of their favourite dishes from The Lodge.
Hand-stretched pizza
Our pizza kitchen will be open from 12pm-6pm too, serving wood-fired, hand-stretched Italian-style pizzas. It is a popular choice for children, teenagers and anyone craving something a little different after Christmas dinner.
A relaxed family Boxing Day
With the carvery, gastro menu and pizza menu all available during the same service, there is no need to negotiate one menu that suits everybody. Littleover Lodge is close to Littleover, Heatherton, Findern and Derby, with free on-site parking to make a family get-together that bit easier.
