What to Do Whilst You’re There?
Whether you’re there for serious lessons and practice, or just a bit of fun with friends, Swadlincote Snowsports Centre has so much to offer. The popular snowsports centre specialises in three different services. These are:
The snowsports centre has classes in skiing and snowboarding to cater for students of every age and experience level. If this has always been a dream, but get daunted by the big slopes, the snowsports centre offers highly recommended classes, including group and private lessons. They even offer a full day course for those that are on a time frame.
For those looking for a different type of thrill, you can also take on the three adrenaline boosting activities. Swadlincote offers a tobogganing, Sno-Tubing and Drop Slide experience for those brave enough. Suitable for ages 4+, the whole family can get in on the action whether that’s taking on the 500m toboggan course, the steep and slippy Sno-Tube ramp or the 70m drop slide. Do you dare? With the venue accommodating a variety of events, keep an eye out on the website to see what’s coming up. If you’re staying with us for a birthday break, they even do birthday parties.
Food and Drink
Whilst you’re there, the Swadlincote Snowsports Centre can provide you with plenty of options for lunch. Their Alpine Bar and Kitchen set in the heart of the National Forest overlooks the slopes to create a fantastic atmosphere to grab a bite to eat or a drink. From cheese fondues for groups to burgers, ribs and chicken, there’s plenty to keep your energy up. Trust us, you’ll need it!
Once you’re all worn out, you can then return to Littleover and enjoy a great hearty meal and maybe even a pudding in the best gastropub in Derbyshire before you slumber down for the night in one of our luxury rooms.
