How To Treat Your Dad This Father’s Day At Littleover Lodge Hotel

Father’s Day is nearly upon us. On June 18th, restaurants and hotels across the UK will be packed with families in celebration of their dads. Have you arranged Father’s Day plans yet? If not, it’s time to book now rather than leaving it to the last minute. Whether you live in the Derby area or are just passing through for the occasion, there are many ways to treat your dad this Father’s Day at Littleover Lodge Hotel.

To Brunch Or To Lunch?

Start Father’s Day on a high by taking your dad out for a lovely brunch. Our lunch menu is open Wednesday to Friday from noon to 2pm and Saturday from 11am to 2pm. Choose from a traditional full English breakfast, smashed avocado, smoked salmon and more. If you wish to head out for lunch, our lunch menu options include Italian toasted paninis with a choice of fillings, omelettes, homemade pies, fish & chips, hand cut sandwiches, wraps and more.

Father’s Day Dinner

If you are planning on taking your dad out for a Father’s Day dinner with the family, our Sunday carvery is served from noon until 6pm. Our kitchen uses locally sourced produce such as Derbyshire beef. As well as our meats being slow cooked to perfection, our chefs swap up our meat and vegetables regularly so our carvery is hot and ready to serve upon your arrival. Pile as much meat, vegetables, stuffing, potatoes and sauces as you want onto your plate, of course not forgetting a Yorkshire pudding, before coating it with a generous amount of gravy.

At Littleover Lodge Hotel, a Sunday carvery isn’t the only food we serve here, we also have a full gastro menu available if you don’t fancy a carvery or for more vegetarian or gluten free options. Choose from steak, wood fired kebabs, burgers, stone baked pizzas, fish and more. Following your meal, feel free to have a glance at our dessert menu for something luscious, finish your Father’s Day dinner on a sweet note with a tasty treat such as our cheesecake of the day or creme brulee. Most dads will agree with us, no matter the occasion, there is always room for dessert!

Drinks All Around

To help your Father’s Day dinner go down smoothly, our Lodge Bar is a great place to enjoy a post-dinner beverage (or a few!). We have an extensive drinks menu with a selection of wines, draught & bottled beers, whisky, gin, cocktails, mocktails, hot drinks and soft drinks. Whether your dad prefers a pint of Guinness or cup of English tea, our team of bartenders and mixologists can mix or serve him the perfect beverage.

Stay The Night

Father’s Day doesn’t have to end there. After your drinks, turn in for the night in one of our 18th century ensuite bedrooms. Each of our luxurious bedrooms is equipped with a comfortable bed, private bathroom, fresh towels, hair dryer, tea & coffee making facilities, flat-screen TV, free WiFi. Enjoy a continental breakfast or a cooked breakfast for your dad at an extra charge the following morning with the family before checking out for 11am.
