Mother’s Day (also known as Mothering Sunday) is on the horizon. And if you’re looking to really spoil your mum this year, we’ve got just the thing.
To celebrate the people who raise us, love us unconditionally, and put up with us, our development chef David Mao has devised a sumptuous Mother’s Day menu.
Mother’s Day Meals in Derbyshire
This year Mother’s Day falls on 22nd March, so put it in your diary folks! Better yet, book your table well in advance and then forget about it for a while.
For our Mother’s Day guests, we’ve devised a delicious set menu, from which you can choose from 2 or 3 courses.
To start, we’re offering diners a choice of freshly made cauliflower and truffle soup, crispy duck with goose liver parfait, burrata or sesame and soy cured salmon. Then, for the main event, there’s a selection of high-quality dishes to titillate taste buds. This includes our iconic Littleover Lodge chicken Caesar, Atlantic sea bass, a juicy aged sirloin steak and butternut squash with sage risotto.
Of course, no good meal would be complete without dessert. And, oh boy, do we deliver. For mum’s with a sweet tooth there’s raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake, chocolate fondue or Eton mess. Or, for something a little more savoury, we can serve up our chef’s selection of delicious cheeses alongside chutney, celery, grapes and crackers.
Book Your Mother’s Day Table Now
Get the jump on the rush and book your Mother’s Day table now. We’re already taking bookings and normally get filled up very quickly ahead of the big day. Our 2 course Mother’s Day menu in Derbyshire is only £19pp, or £22.50 for 3 courses.
Alternatively, if you’d like to enjoy our traditional carvery, this will be still running. So you can treat mum to a Sunday lunch instead if you like!
We look forward to seeing you soon!
Please be aware that all diners must have this menu for the whole table if dining with us on Mother’s Day and a £7.50 deposit per head is required for reservations.
